[Amy stood there in the loo, eyes on the thing she was holding in her hand before she finally spoke up. Calling her husband. ] Rory. [She tried to sound causal, but there was an edge to her tone that wasn't quite describable.]

[Rory heard Amy call his name and looked around the house for his wife. Finally he found her in the bathroom looking a little worse for wear.] Amy? What's wrong?

[Turning around to face Rory with an unreadable expression on her face, she felt a knot forming in her throat as she looked at her husband. She felt so many different emotions at once, it was hard to pin point exactly how she felt about this. Finally, she turned the pregnancy test so Rory could see the two lines.] I'm pregnant.

[Rory was excited by this news an the fact that Amy had told him upfront which is more than he got when she was pregnant with Melody. Her reaction to it though, he couldn't tell if this news made her happy or sad. Whichever it was one thing was for certain, she needed a hug right now and that is what he did.] Are you okay?

[And that hug was very much appreciated. She embraced him tightly, one hand clutching the test as she closed her eyes and pressed her face into his shoulder.] Yes--no--I don't know. [And she really didn't know. She was happy and scared and--just so many things were going through her mind at once. What if something happened to her baby, it was bad enough losing Melody like that. She couldn't deal with something happening like that again. It would just be too much, it was already too much.]
