Yay for amnesty month! I'm glad you finished this, cause this is an interesting Elizabeth. I like that Will caught her when they were kids - she misses having him around to catch her, and her memories of Norrington's eyes. I just like the pain in this; the things that'll never be healed.
I think Elizabeth doesn't notice, at the beginning, how much those around her bend for her, she just takes it for granted. But by the end of the movies, I would think she'd be carrying around a fair amount of guilt for the suffering she has inadvertently caused. Mind you, she's carefully NOT thinking about killing Jack here...angst for another day, perhaps. *grin*
*chuckle* So sorry, m'dear! I'm not much of an Elizabeth fan, either, but she just wouldn't leave me alone for this prompt. I have a Horatio/Archie story just beginning to gel, however, so perhaps that will make up for it? *puppy eyes*
