One mark of a good song is that it stays in your head long after the last time you heard it.

Husker Du's "Pink Turns to Blue" has been in my head for about five hours now, playing over and over. If the General You hasn't heard it, you should.

Strangely, it didn't really register for me the first ten or twenty times I listened to the album...

Not necessarily. I quite often get complete crap songs stuck in my head. I would say that the mark of a good song is that you don't mind that it stays in your head long after the last time you heard it.

(I've had the Oompa Loompa song stuck in my head for two days now, and I have no idea why, except that I'm certain it's all montoya's fault.)
