So I watched season two over the weekend. There isn't a lot to say that isn't absurdly spoiler-laden, so in the uncut portion of the post: if you haven't watched this series, do so. So I watched season two over the weekend.

Be sure to check the gag reel on the last disc for some extra Joss hilarity.

The second season is, in my estimation, better than the first.

Hmm. It might be as good. I don't think it's better though. Most of the reasons are a bit spoilery though, so they go down lower.

Also, by himself, Logan Echolls is a better show than most other actual entire shows.

Also true! At times, I find him more interesting than Veronica.

This release, plus this week's release of the final (sigh) Arrested Development season make me a happy camper DVD-wise.

First: totally surprised by the culprit. In retrospect all the pieces were there to make it plausible, but I never connected the dots. Absolutely. One of the things that was ruining season 2 for me was that Duncan is so monumentally boring, and Logan is so much more interesting. He and Veronica have a lot more on-screen chemistry, too.
