I would send them an email. I might de-caps the part at the end, but you're right. Equating being trans to being a convicted criminal is as offensive and outdated at comparing being gay to having a psychological disorder. C'mon, eljay, if you don't want to be right, at the very least know your audience. It seems like this kind of thing has been happening more and more recently.
