The day began and ended with MiniPlu complaining about her stomach *bangs head* but she was totally fine the entire rest of the day so ... somebody PLEASE invent some means of figuring out what the heck is going on with her?? Actually, this morning was that "hunger manifesting itself as stomachache" thing she sometimes gets, and easily fixed with

Is there any chance that MiniPlu's stomach woes could be related to nervousness/excitement? I used to fall prey to this as a kid - if I was going to a friend's house or a party, that sort of thing, my stomach would act up. And she might not think of it as anything because she's not upset or unhappy, it's just a peculiar physical reaction to excitement for some kids.

Also, I do know that I can remember having a lot more stomach aches when I was a kid than I do now, so hopefully this will be something that gets better with age!

She does seem prone to it with upset, but she has denied being stressed or worried about anything. I have not seen a consistent pattern with excitement, although I suppose that perhaps minor twinges would go unnoticed while she's having a blast, and would then trouble her once the distraction was over.

Sounds like a lovely day all around, especially the dinner with S&S! And, that's some crazy weather you were having.

I used to be allergic to strawberries (in quantity) as a kid, but my sensitivity showed up as a rash. I understand some kind of strawberry allergy is not uncommon, 'cos I think they, like tomatoes, are supposed to be slightly toxic?
