I hope everything goes well with your dad. Taking care of ailing parents is so hard.

It is - because not only do we have to tell him something he won't like at all - going into a memory care place - but we will have to have that discussion repeatedly, because he won't remember from one minute to the next why we need to pack up his clothes and small personal items. Lots of tough conversations, can't wait. :-P. So, thank you for your good wishes - we will take all the positive thoughts we can get!
