The phone repair story thus far.
Sunday:
Samsung: Sure you can log in and see what coverage you have. We'll send you a confirmation code to your broken phone, so you can verify it's you.
Us: *bangs head* Well, that's not gonna work.
( And it only gets worse from there. )

I'm glad that ultimately it sounds like it will be covered under the warranty, assuming it...ever gets to the point where you can take it in?
Don't feel guilty though - shit happens, and part of being family is doing stuff like this for each other. I bet you can come up with a dozen annoying things you have done for them :D

UBIF is legit. I had LVN's phone fixed there and they did a screen protector install for me. Our phone insurance didn't cover any repairs, so it was out of pocket, but reasonable. Good luck!
