How are you all? I'm doing ok, nothing really particular. Subbing, taking my FIL to appointments, writing for Yuletide, making poor use of my free time, blah blah blah.

Despite still having several really good books awaiting me from my birthday, I treated myself to a romance novel I'd had my eye on, Vespertine, and finished it in a couple of ( Read more... )

LOL - I hear you :) I had a lazy afternoon today - didn't get much accomplished and ultimately had a nap :D

Your bread sounds yummy - I have no mixer, and I'm not sure I'm up for manually kneading - but I've saved the recipe in case one day I feel ambitious :D

I tend to fritter away time on the internet. :-P

Kneading is really not very difficult. If you do try it (try a YouTube video for instructions), just knead for about 10 mins by hand. (If you have access to a KitchenAid, just let it go for 5 mins with the dough hook.)

And yes, Sophie is darling, isn't she? :-)

Ooh, love the kitten's whiskers and eyebrows! :D

I haven't seen Frozen 2 yet either (L has seen it twice in theaters, and has told me she is planning to watch it with me at home).

I saw Frozen 2 for the 2nd time yesterday. I didn't really NEED to see it a second time in the theaters, but MiniPlu had chosen not to come with the rest of the family in Nov, because she wanted to go with her friends. But then her friends all had different schedules so, in the end, most of them went to see it at times she wasn't free, and she was one of the only ones who never got to go. I offered to take her yesterday after church, so off we went.
