I don't know what my problem is, but I'm having a very blah day. Don't want to do anything.

Drop me a line if MiniPlu needs any help with Anatomy. Not that I was any good at it, but hopefully I know enough for a high school class! You can get anatomy colouring in books as a study aid, if that’s something she’d enjoy or find useful.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's assigned an anatomy coloring book or equivalent as part of the course, but we'll see. I'm pretty good at anatomy from the diaphragm up (thank you, speech-therapy training) and that's given me a general understanding of some overall terminology - hopefully I can use that to help her as needed. But thank you - I'll let you know if we can use your help!

I'm desperate to do things by myself again, even if it's just running errands

*nods* I'm peopled out, too, and it's not like the rodents even NEED stuff from me as such. But they're there, and L is chattering at me, and I kind of look forward to work-from-work days because I actually get some alone time. :P

I know I'll miss the summer as soon as school starts and I'll have to help them study and deal with college applications and make their lunches and fill out bunches of paperwork, but summer definitely carries its own toll.

Very odd the way the class schedules were shared this time around. I was going to ask why give this info at all, since it doesn't really help, but I guess it's so they could work on the summer packets?

Pretty much what you said: they don't need a lot but they're THERE, and talking, and needing different stuff, or rides somewhere (mostly MiniPlu), but as soon as school starts and I have to get up at the crack of dawn, and prod Two with homework, and such - I'll miss the lazier days. But right now? Bring on the school! :P ( ... )
