Today's gratitude:

1) I live in a country where I am free to vote. (My choices sucked, but I was completely free to vote for the least awful among them. :P) Bonus: First openly trans person elected to state legislature! Not my state, but I'm still delighted ( Read more... )

I watched The Outsiders at the cinema back in the day and I definitely remember swooning over the actors.
And yes, it's a good story.

I know it's still better than being assigned some despot, without being given a choice, but still ... ugh. It would be nice to not cringe when I hit the "vote" button!

I always vote for the Monster Raving Looney Party here in local elections because the local morons are so bad I can't pick a best of a shit bunch.
