Yes, because it's meant to be funny. A character is reading a hate-mail message that's written in glitter glue, "Die, bitches, die!" and said character, after slowly reading the name, with clearly no clue who Sonia Sotomayor is, declares, "Geez, she's judgey." So, yeah, the audience is supposed to laugh.
