Try the second. Have I mentioned how much I hate the stupid satellite? Oh, yeah, lots and lots of times.
Four priests? At the largest church I frequented, I think there were maybe two (this was a long time ago), but there was a regular stream of visiting priests, many of whom belonged to orders I'd never heard of before. Here, I think we've got two from Elk to Westport. I know the priest in Mendocino also serves Elk.
I vote to bring that beautiful puppy home. I tried to figure out how to post a picture of the maybe girl, but my connection dropped while I was poking at the "more options" dropdown. I'll try on my journal to share it.
I know, I know - I like I said, we've been spoiled by the number of priests. My best friend's brother is a priest, and he was put in charge of two churches, all by himself. I think right now he's only got one church, but still - he's doing it alone. But it's still going to be a big change for our church - we've had four priests for what feels like forever, with five services per weekend (all but the 7:30am one being consistently pretty full).
And I WISH we could bring home the puppy. But ... three dogs! Just feels like verging into "crazy dog lady" territory.
All A's, I think, except science, with a total 92-point-something% average - enough for First Honors, which she earned for 3 of the 4 quarters
Congratulations to MiniPlu! That's really impressive, and especially considering how much work they got this year!
(Also kinda jealouse MiniPlu's school gets standardized test results this soon, although September, on the other hand, is really late! We get ours in July or August... usually, although last year the SFUSD computer system was down or hacked or something and we didn't get them until school had already started.)
MiniPlu's field day idea sounds like a lot of fun! And, wow, her birthday really snuck up on me. Apologies in advance as our present will be late (both because there's no way I'll get stuff taken care of before we leave for Europe and because I want to leave room for the opportunity to pick up some cute small things abroad) -- but is there something in particular she'd like? Books/movies/etc. or girly things?
