Oh, right, I remember boggling at the no school on first day of hunting season in years past XD Well, at least you hopefully get an enjoyable movie out of it?

Brave looks really cool from the trailer!

Hope all the misplaced stuff turns up well in time for when it's needed, and sorry to hear the kid squabbles and other frustrations.

It feels weird going to the movies twice in two days (not to mention pricey :-P) but since the opportunity is presenting itself and we have nothing else really planned, might as well.

Except ... oh crud. I just remembered why I was initially thinking we should see Puss In Boots today; since that movie has been out a few weeks, showtimes are fewer and I have to take the dog to the vet for bloodwork only just shortly before the movie. ARGH! Sigh. I screwed that up properly, didn't I? Maybe Two will settle for Arthur Christmas, instead?

Hmm, I recognize that actor, but I've also seen him in both Journey to the Center of the Earth and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant.

I asked TC if she wanted to see the Muppet movie and she said no - I guess she's kind of in the wrong demographic, too old to want to see it for the singing puppets and too young to want to see it for the nostalgia factor. I kind of wanted to see it for the latter reason, but will probably wait until it hits cable.

I'm finding MiniPlu is in that wrong demographic for Disney merchandise, as well - too big for princesses, too young to appreciate the nostalgia factor in owning said merchandise in that "I'm not afraid to admit I like Cookie Monster" thing that I've seen for adult-size Sesame Street shirts. She still likes kids' movies, but I'm sure we'll soon hit that limbo TC is experiencing, soon enough.

I don't think so - I somehow seem to have escaped any promotional material for the Hunger Games movie (have likewise neither read the books nor want to). I swear I've seen this kid IN something (besides this promo) but nothing on his list at imdb matches with anything else I've come across. Very puzzling.

Still no sign of either gift cards or postage stamps. I'm feeling REALLY frustrated!
