Gorgeous, as ever. The use of lighting and the different textures are just exquisite. Love the little acorn light, it is beyond adorable and so so well rendered.

According to the mods, it sounds like the entire BBT fest will be posting later, so yay more time for Team Sandrock! :D

Thanks ^__^ <3 Huh... never knew that the light could also look like an acorn. I'll definitely keep that in mind when I do the final design for the lantern. :D

Oh yey! I suppose that worries me a little less. ^^;

That is RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous.

The one on your blogspot webbie, can I ask for permission to use it as my desktop?

Oooo, that's a nice scene! Very dark and foreboding.

I have a few crits though. The high-lighting on the tree is very simple, bark doesn't reflect light as easily as that and it makes it look very flat and unconvincing :<.

Also the pattern on the tree looks like its just floating in front of it, I think drawing it and taking consideration the contours of the tree would have made it look more like it's carved into it.

I can understand the pain of controlling how the colours are viewed. Like, on my mac things would look prefect, but then viewing it on another monitor it looks...orz so bad... :(

The little girl is cute, eeeee! 8D

Good luck with the rest of your work! I found with me that the first semester was always the hardest, and things pick up better after Christmas, so hopefully things won't be too hard on you next year :)

Ah thanks for the crit! Yea... the patterns on the tree were definitely rushed. X__x;;; I suppose painting at 5 in morning didn't help either. orz;;; *phailage*

Omg yes. I switched off between at least 8 different monitors and the colors looked slightly different each time. I got so frustrated....

Hahah next year is going to be the hardest. We're going all of our pre-production and story planning for our senior thesis. Major do/die moments. T^T

Thank you! ^^

Hmmm I would rather people get their prints directly from me rather than from DA. I am SUPER OCD about my print colors, so I need to make sure that the prints that people buy from me are EXACTLY the colors that I intended for the piece to have. XD; So I usually just print 11x17 prints from home and ship them to people. :3

I usually print it from my home printer (epson :D) on 11x17 glossy photo paper. Usually I charge $12 for a print + $5 for shipping since it's so big. :]
