Notes:

1. Nothing much to say this time, actually :P. I’m enjoying my time off of work, and since the wireless Internet seems to be working here, I can post!!! Next week will probably be about the same story because I get home late, but the post should be within about a day of its normal time, if all goes well.

Yay! I love past!chapters and this one was good as alwyas!

I also love the first part, perfect mix between fun and seriousness and I was very glad when Chopper gave that card to Sanji, it means it could be another encounter with Kureha, that is always hilarious!

And I'm glad you are having fun! Enjoy your celebration!

Yeah I figured and I also thought it was a great angst preamble but I didn't say it, bacause I'm always talking about these things and I know I'm boring! XD

Yay, backstory! I like how you tied it all in.

...the closest he’d come to seeing it was that day in the cafeteria back in high school when Luffy had decided to imitate the swordsman using plastic butter knives. Lol XD

Sanji wanted to stop talking about it before the mood darkened again, and he gave Zoro a light kiss on his nose and stood up. Little things like that are just so cute and telling of their relationship.

Also, Mihawk and Shanks continue to be awesome <3

I just see that as being something Luffy would like to imitate xP.

And is it bad that I totally had to re-read my own chapter to find that other sentence? I completely forget what I write at times, it seems...

Mihawk and Shanks will always be awesome :P

Ooooh I like what you did with their pasts! Maybe slightly less dramatic than in the movie but much more real and for a kid... This is heavy enough I guess.
Your Luffy is still awesome without being so over the top that he doesn't fit in a modern day AU.

I wanted it to be sort-of the same yet different, and since I couldn't plausibly get Sanji stuck on a rock for three months I went with a different, more realistic approach, so I'm glad that it worked!

The more I write Luffy the more I get him, I think, so it's good to know that he's coming off well xP

It's nice when Sanji and Zoro share their past; I miss that in One Piece a bit. So this was really cute.&hearts

And Sanji handling Zoro's swords - aaaw!

Thanks! I tried to make their pasts close to what they were in the show, but seeing as how this is supposed to take place in a modern world, there had to be some changes to make that work. And I figure that Zoro would only let somebody he really trusts handle his swords, so I hoped that that part came across as well.
