So many mixed emotions, and I've lost all respect for Beiste (which I didn't think was possible) and Artie (who I was always indifferent to but now I'm like 'no.'). Emma I'm still on the fence on. At least she tried.
I liked it overall. It was a good Kurt episode and I loved him with Brittany (not enough of her). Loved seeing more of Blaine and Burt always rocks. Puck's a sweetheart, but I'm worried that Quinn will drag him down now that she's determined to be a bitch on wheels and get Beth back. I share your concerns about the writing: It's getting inconsistent.
And on the subject of gay men supposedly not being able to pull off "masculine" roles? I can say two names off the top of my head: John Barrowman and Rock Hudson. Who says they aren't manly?
Speaking of JB, I was trying to remember if we had any idea who Rachel's birth father is. I know John spoke of wanting to play one of her gay dads, but I think it would be just as brilliant if he played her real dad.
Kurt and Brittany are really good together :) And Burt is just amazing. I love how supportive he is in his gruff way and he always knows what to say to make Kurt feel better (but where's Carole? Seriously? Is she locked in a shed somewhere?) I love Quick and I hope Puck will talk some sense into her, because she seems to listen to him one way or the other. Well, it was an Ryan Murphy episode, and as Jane Lynch said in her book: "If it makes you laugh, it's Ian, if it makes you cry, it's Brad, if it makes you go 'WTF was that???' it's Ryan,' so I took that into account xP

That's what made me the angriest as well; both Artie and Beiste *know* what it's like to be shunned for something they can't control, and what are they doing to Kurt??? Like I said, I give Emma credit for trying, but then as a guidance counselor I would expect her to be supportive (but as a coach and a friend I would expect Beiste and Artie to be supportive, too, so

Lofl I love your Will bashing. Rants taste like sugar to me. (I'm evil.) Even though I love him. Wemma is a personal nightmare, but I like him on his own. You know, when he's not being gross and creepy. I liked his wife way better than Emma. She was hilarious. And I lmao when he yelled at Quinn, because I love Dianna but don't and have never liked Quinn. She was acting like a brat as per usual.
Blaine's age. *snort* If Chord was still on and they lied about Sam's age too, I'd be like, 'Huh? Blam? They're both freshmen? Four more years? This is all true. Yep. I believe it.' But without Chord I just laugh.
Kurt cheering for Finn! Kurt reaching for Finn. Sort of. <3 <3 <3

And Sam was supposed to be a junior this year if he stayed, so he and Blaine would have been in the same grade (*eternal Blam creys*)
I don't know what Kurt's doing there. I really don't. xP
