I'm so sorry to hear about your baby brother and uncle. It's so touching that your whole family has a special memorial for them every year. The symbolism of flowers and candles (their spirits living on) can be comforting.

It's really nice how everyone goes to the cemetery on November 1 here. Some people even stay there overnight, while some like us stay there for a good part of the day, eating, talking with our family, basically just hanging out there while remembering those who have passed away.

15? Hehehe. I guess I just got used to having the lights on when I was a kid. I can't sleep and I feel anxious when it's dark.

We celebrate All Souls Day on November 2nd too. But I had to work today and didn't make it in time to the cementry.

I like the date, the fact that it exists too.

It seems that Uruguay has a lot of similarities with the Philippines. I like the date too. It's a good thing.

That's a really cool tradition. My family gets together a year after the person died to eat dinner and just be around family I guess.

It helps that it's a holiday here too. It gives us the time to go visit the cemetery.
