Hi there. I have two questions regarding your huge update.
1) Unless you prefer not to elaborate, I'm interested to know what problem you were referring to here: It was with this family, however, that I had my only real problems during the exchange, though it was only during the last two weeks of my stay with them that the problems arose. To make a long story short, we all made many mistakes, but in the end everything has worked out, I believe. Though it was a very difficult time for me, I do believe that I learned a lot about human relations, Japan, and myself. It was difficult, but I am glad in many ways that what happened did.
2) I know that you're really busy. But if you have any spare time on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday, do you want to get together for lunch or something in Tokyo? My boyfriend might be able to come too, but usually his schedule is too full.
1) yeah...I have no problem elaborating...but it may take a little while to get my thoughts down. I wrote a ton of journal entries (in a notebook somewhere) during that time...but so many of my thoughts about the whole situation have changed...so I want to note my current feelings too, I guess.
2) This weekend, lunch on friday would work...but unfortunately nothing else. On early saturday I'm taking off for Nara, Kyoto, and Osaka. I technically have school on friday, but because it is testing week and I have no tests...I can basically leave whenever. No one even knows if I come to school or not. The limiting factor is that I have to meet someone in Yoyogi Koen (Harajuku Station) at 4:30. I tend to be on the west side of Tokyo, i.e. Shinjuku Region, but do you have any specific place you want to eat? What about a good time to meet? Feel free to give me a ring on my cell.
