The course of action I had planned to follow was to publish on Lulu once I get it edited.

As for taking it off of LJ, this version will certainly come off. Luckily, I think it'd be easy for me to fight any such theft in court, given the way I wrote the story. Still, I plan to take action toward publishing ASAP.
