hey when i was there you couldnt get near the damn thing let alone go in it. they had masses of lead weights and steel ropes hung from one side, to keep it more upright than leaning i spose.
it did make me notice the rest of the buildings though and the dodgy black guys selling plastic soldiers and coke.

you're right, there's always those sketch vendors around. this year it was more counterfeit purses and coconut slices.

HA! coconut and prada purses, them guys sell the purses at a discount with no harasment, the real prada stores have armed guards at the door, huh to make sure you pay before leaving

gah those stores bother me. last year i was in cortina d'ampezzo, and i was in a gucci store. i like the stuff, but i'll be damned if i pay that much for a frickin' purse.
ugh. and don't ever tell them you're "just browsing". it's like i had sprouted a third arm all of a sudden. bastards.

Could you really slide down on the steps? Like.. they, were they ah.. I don't know how to say.

only about 3 or 4 steps before your butt really starts to ouch and you lose momentum. i don't know if you can tell in the photo, but the stairs in the tower are pretty smooth.
