EnglishRussia has a great series of photos from Pripyat, a ghost town not too far from Chernobyl. 50,000-odd people used to live here, until the meltdown happened.

Now, the photos have had their colours tweaked and saturated like you wouldn't believe, but look past that and there are some haunting, melancholic images...

There may not have been a Zombie flick there... ...But I'm sure that Big Wheel is in one of the Call of Duty games...

Yeah, I'd heard that! I did a quick googling after I posted, just to check if there had indeed been a zombie movie made there (no), and read somewhere that it'd been featured in CoD.
