It's only natural that Andy and Ash like Star Trek. And Star Wars. Ash probably had a crush on Leia; he seems the type that would like crazily competent girls, who could snap him in half with thier thighs. Andy had, what he later would realise was, a little bit of a crush on Han Solo. They once spent an evening marathoning Star Wars, despite Ash cursing George Lucas loudly and inventively throughout the first three movies. /needless meta.

I'm so glad I found this site again when there were updates! And I love how in-character Andy and Ash are. Of course it would be great to read of how they didn't get mauled by angry pork rinds. I suppose I shall have to wait patiently for more updates!
Thank tou so much. I don't usually write Ash, so I'm really glad that you think that he's in-character. And, yeah, I'm kind of curious as to how they got out of this situation (or, for that matter, how they got into it). I imagine Ash in the future, in the Roadhouse, regailing the patrons with the story of how he defeated the dreaded Horta with tasers.

I thought this was excellent! It managed to be funny and gripping at the same time! Phrases that struck me - ''also with tusks' and 'there's a short pregnant pause'. I loved the answer 'Sigourney Weaver'.

I hope the tazer worked and that the boys are on the road again. I was listening to Planet rock (Kat set my radio to it and I daren't turn to anything else in case I can't find it again) and heard the Eagles singing Long Road out of Eden. It struck me it would be a good theme tune for this series.
Heh, yeah, I completely understand. I'm really lazy about leaving feedback, so I doubt you could beat my appalling record of reading fics and then never leaving any comments. *hangs head in shame*

I don't consider myself very good at writing "funny", and my repertoire for "gripping" is limited, so it's nice to hear that I've achieved both of them in this instance. And, yeah. The "Sigourney Weaver" exchange kind of runs the line between hilarious and too surreal.
I'll have to check out that song, now that you've mentioned it. Kat has kindly threatened promised to educate me on classic rock. Perhaps one day we'll post Anywhere Road: The Soundtrack!!

I love the fact that you're referencing Star Trek. These two have definitely watched too much sci-fi and it's exactly the conversation they'd have.
