Jennette McCurdy on Dating Rumors
The iCarly star spoke to Bop and Tiger Beat about one of the dating rumors she's been asked about by fans:
“People come up to me all the time and ask, ‘Are you and Spencer dating?’ I say, ‘Nope, but I wish.’ I have a crush on Jerry [Trainor]. He knows,” she admits. “My crush on Jerry is a “school girl” crush. The full first season I could not look at him without laughing, because he lit up my world. My mom told him one time, and I was mortified. I was fifteen, and having a crush on your thirty-two year old costar. My mom told me she told him. It was on our lunch break, and she was walking outside, and said, ‘Jennette talks about you all the time. She has the biggest crush on you.’ Jerry had a hay day with it. He would pick on me all the time. He would pick me up and hug me, and say, ‘do you love this part? Are you savoring this moment Jennette? Do you want to marry me?’ He’s hilarious.”
