You never know what is going to happen when you open those new pages do you = that is the best adventure about books.
A bit like sighting a strange sail ...could lead to all manner of things as it has for you and for many of us.

So true... finding that book has led me to a life long fascination with the character and the desire to try and create my own age of sail fiction.
