Continuing with the Reviews

Jul 27, 2014 17:40

It's been a few days since I've posted any reviews of the Hornblower books, so I suppose it is about time I did so.  Here is my take on the first Hornblower book written and published.

It's good to see reviews for Hornblower (or indeed any great Age of Sail novels) but is there any chance you could put them behind a cut?

I certainly could put them behind a cut. I didn't think these reviews were long enough to require doing so, although this one was a bit longer than most. To me, it's right at the point where one possibly should hide the majority of it.

I can't, of course, speak to anyone else's Friends' list but the reviews have been dominating mine with regard to length. To be honest, I've actually considered simply unfollowing Anything_AoS to clear the airspace, so to speak. But that's just me.

I've just checked the original document that I'd copied and pasted into this posting. It was a bit longer than I had thought, nearly three pages in standard manuscript format, that is double spaced, etc. In the future, anything over a page worth of standard format will be put behind a cut.
