Author: Kim Harrison
Number of Pages: 487
Genre: fiction

Review: As good as she is in getting herself in to trouble, Rachel's equally good at getting herself out of it, and it's very entertaining to watch her do so. I find myself quite liking Al these days. He's amusing, if nothing else. The plot was in-line with the latter books of the series. It existed, it was pretty good, and it was there mainly to further character development, rather than the other way around. I quite think that is what draws me to the series. The stories drive the characters, rather than the characters driving the story. I find each character compelling and I find myself caring about what happens to them. Which, of course, is why I sobbed through four or five chapters of this book.
