Further to my previous post here, I am located at Dreamwidth. latin_cat also has a journal over there.
Dreamwidth has very recently enabled the import of communities - they have allowed the importing of personal journals for a while now. Latin and I are taking advantage of this to import the content of anything_aos.
What this means for you, the community member
This community will still exist and function as it always has.
1. Content will be copied over to
anything_aos.
2. Comments will not copied over - we feel that comment conversations are specific to the site that they appear on, and may not have occurred on another site.
3. Content copied from Livejournal will appear as posted by yourname.livejournal.com - your LJ-provided OpenID - much as this post is from my own DW OpenID.
4. You will have just as much right and control over your content there as you do here.
5. In order to gain access to your posts, you will need to sign up to your OpenID - see here to register your LJ-provided OpenID on Dreamwidth.
6. This does not sign you up to Dreamwidth in the same way you're signed up on LJ.
7. To register an actual account on Dreamwidth, you may need an invite code. I am hoping to get a community invite code which will work for multiple sign-ups. Until then, here are a bunch of invite codes from
