I've been using the built in Dgital TV tuner in my computer for years. No problems. For some odd reason, Channel 9 started becoming intermittent. Viewable at during the day, disappearing in the evening. Then yesterday, it disappeared all together. Same thing with SBS ( Read more... )

Heh, I'm using two different USB DTV tuners... One does Digital and FM Radio as well, so that's my excuse... plus my indoor antennas suck!

Forgot to mention, both on the same PC :)

Sounds like a familiar set up. Two receivers in one computer. This issue with Channel 9 only started about 4 weeks ago. It finally vanished 2 days ago

I found something odd a while ago, moving cables around and moving the tuners (hanging off short USB cables) changed signal strength dramatically. From like no signal at all to 80-90% and varied if I moved them... not completely on or off so not a short... without moving the antennas at all. I gave up bothering to try to get a decent signal from either for DTV. I just use the setup in the next room instead.

I didn't change anything. I've had same set up, same digital antenna, same everything for over a year, working without a problem. Also, someone else told me that Channel 9 stopped working on her set top box with digital aerial antenna.
