When I took the photograph of the Occultation, I was concentrating on total image. Someone else, who had taken an almost identical photo pointed something out to me. I got more than just the "Smiley Face ( Read more... )

The exposure time was only 8 seconds, not enough for tracing.

Since I am an old hand at astrophotography, and also showed the full image to someone else who is adept, it was confirmed that (when looking at the full sized original image) it's Jupiter with Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto.
