Long, long ago, I watched a video in youtube about a girl that showed the content of her fridge and invited the viewers to guess where she was from, her age and occupation based on what lurked within... I thought it was a neat idea and told myself I would post a video response with the contents of my own fridge once I got a camera of my own.
So

It's funny; most people say that it's annoying. Too squeaky and high-pitched. XD

The pumpkin-like thing is called butternut squash in English, at least in my neck of the woods.

I've actually been told that my accent is called "mid-atlantic"... because it's somewhere between American and British (and for "British" I mean "RP", which was at one point the only accent they allowed English teachers over here to speak).
Ah! thanks... I've been looking for the name of that particular veggie but hadn't been very succesful so far. My dictionary only seems to cover the most basic ones, and translation gets hard because people over here don't agree on its name... they call it "calabaza"; "calabacín", "zapallo coreano", and who knows what else... I just go to the grocer's, point and tell him to "give me that". :P

You do like oranges huh? How come there's no snacks, chocolate and stuff? hahhahaha.

Er, well, since I'm trying to eat healthy, if I do buy snacks, then it's only what I'm going to eat at the moment... I try not to have too much junk food around, to minimize temptation.
And yes, I do like oranges, but those are mandarins... they're like the cousins of oranges, and very popular where I live. ^^
But seriously, I'm not a vegetarian, but I can't live without fruits and vegetables...

They're kind of cute, in their own way. :)
The only problem is that it's hard to peel them off without damaging them. :(
Well, I like yogurt. It's a snack, but it's healthy, so... :9

But other than that... the contents of your fridge wouldn't be out of place in Canada, either.
Oh, and that pumpkin thing = squash (butternut squash like the previous poster said, in all likelihood). "Squash" is the category of fruit to which pumpkins also belong, so you weren't too far off. :)
I've only ever experienced frozen loafs of bread at my first job, which involved setting up breakfasts for people at a cabin place out in the country - we froze loafs so we didn't have to buy fresh ones every day. ;)
Also, remind me that if I ever send you a postcard or letter or something, I should send you some canadian fruit stickers. ;) Your collection is cool.

Vowels are my weakness. But then again, we have five vowel sounds in Spanish, and there no less than twelve in English... it's hard to make the transition. :P
Since I don't eat much bread and I live alone, it tends to go stale before I've finished a bag, so freezing it works for me, even though I don't have a microwave to thaw it afterwards (I generally just place it on top of my cup of morning tea and it gets nice and warm then because of the steam).
Hehe, thanks! I also collect sugar packets, but that collection is big and bulky and not so easily shown on a video... though now that I have a digital camera, I guess I ( ... )
