I just stumbled upon this, and am so glad I did. This is a great beginning. There's tension, mystery, a little humour, an blue aliens!

Interesting that the Doctor feels that she should remember on her own. Makes you wonder what exactly happened. But he doesn't seem to be all that worried, so I suppose I shouldn't either!

Welcome back to the madhouse and thanks for this little treat. You've built up a goof dose of suspense here, and I'm almost glad I missed this initial posting, as it gives me two chapters at once to read.

I love your details and little references. My favorite?

"Do you need anything? I'll get the doctor," he said, starting to get up, then amended, "The medical doctor. Not me. There being two of me, that would be ridiculous."

Ridiculous, maybe, but oh, so delicious....

You have no idea just how giddy I am right now! I'm so glad you liked it. :) It makes me want to continue writing more and more. :)

That line came to me, thinking that the Doctor may have to amend that statement for her, if she was feeling a bit dazed. But it's one of my better Doctor line, I think.
