What an amazing line and a brilliant way to describe their special connection. I feel so badly for Blaine that he has to stay so restrained, so distant, so formal in front of his parents - so I'm really glad he's going to start having Burt. And brave brave Kurt, seeing him feel safe enough to let down his exhausting barriers was beautiful. Really really good chapter!

It's so rare that I can read a retelling of Canon events and not get bored with the story, but this new dimension of connected feelings adds so much to the plot we know that I am enthralled with every turn. Brilliant work, and perfect chapter!

IKR? Straight retelling of canon events makes me yawn instantly, so I keep looking for those little moments we didn't get to see in canon that may be affected by the specifics of this AU.

It was stranger to see just how reserved Blaine was in front of his own parents verses Burt. The way you continually rework canon moment into the story is amazing.

Blaine's parents...don't get me started. So glad that Burt seems to "get it" and let Blaine stay. Burt Hummel is awesome; and the two of them are going to need that kind of support. Sometimes it feels as if the whole world is against them. Times are changing. Sadly, not fast enough. Loved their first orgasm together. And yeah, Blaine can live with borrowing Kurt's underwear. Or he could go commando. I'd be fine with that...
