This is so much more than I could have hoped for! I loved the tone, the expansion of the Roomie comfort by their years together into non-verbal conversation, Neela-in-Alice and the slight tension around Lucien and the baggage he brought. But then his reason for coming was not what they'd expected and Ray's response...and it was lovely and brought back all my feelings for these two. (Honey!)

(I wasn't! I really didn't have anyone in mind beyond a connection to their past. But I'm glad it prompted you to write this.)

OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING. DUBENKO! Alice being the perfect combination of the two of them, Ray's dumb attitude (...wow, I missed Ray's dumb attitude A LOT), her getting turned on by robots and also that line about him rubbing lotion into her arms? That is my favorite, favorite line of all. So nice to have you back, lady. This is so great.

I don't know these characters beyond their names because I wandered away from ER a few years prior to their coming on the scene - but this is adorable and I like them already and it's great to have you writing here again! I'm looking forward to more of your fic offerings!
