I want my internet back!
The lightning strike apparently shot up the cable line to the junction box on the utility pole. Maybe I'll have internet when I get home today, or not! My work blocks webmail. Thank goodness I can get to LJ.

Well, that's no good. VA Power needs to get on the stick about that straightaway. Don't they know that, in this day and age, being without internet is akin to being without air and light?
