I Meme because I can!!

I've never meme-d before, so I thought the Firsts meme would be a good place to start. All of my answers are pretty dull thought, mostly because I'm kinda dullish :)

1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
A lovely boy called Mark, who was like a brother to me- a very, very handsome brother, who half of my classmates had a crush on. I may have been a little smug at our Formal.

2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
I do, but only because we have children together.

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Bourbon when I was fifteen. I spent most of the night listening to Pink Floyd with my head pressed against the stereo, utterly convinced there was a gnome living inside the speaker. To this day I can’t stand the smell of bourbon.

4. What was your FIRST job?
I counted ballots during a State election. It was dull.

5. What was your FIRST car?
The car I have now, which is a silver thing with crap steering and absolutely no power.

6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
My service provider, reminding me to recharge my account. I just feel so loved!

8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?
Mrs K. She was lovely. When I was young our folks were broke, and their barber friend cut our hair for free. It was okay for my brothers, but bad news for me. I always ended up with boy hair- and not the cute elfish boy hair either! When my hair finally grew back and I could wear it tied up again, Mrs K made a huge deal about ‘the new girl’ in our class with pigtails. I remember that moment so fondly.

9. Where did you go on your FIRST airplane ride?
When I was three, we moved to Australia. I don’t remember the flight at all, but my mother tells me I cried for about 80% of the journey.

10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
I think Bernadette. We were only best friends for about a term, and we finally lost touch when she went to a different high-school.

11. Where was your FIRST sleep over?
At my friend Mark’s house. His mother had to drive me home when I started crying.

13. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?
I was flower girl at my cousins wedding. I wore a beautiful pink dress that I was absolutely chuffed with. We kept the dress for about twenty years, and I think all of the girls in my family have had their picture taken in it while playing dress ups. (A few of the boys have as well, but we’re saving those pictures for blackmail purposes)

14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
Fed my dogs.

15. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?
I had a really awful run of luck with concerts. The minute I had a job, I started saving up for concerts, then every concert I bought tickets for ended up cancelled. The first group that didn’t was Garbage. They were really great in concert, and not at all rubbish J

16. FIRST tattoo?
No tattoo’s yet, but one of my friends is an amazing tattooist, and keeps drooling over my skin.

17. FIRST piercing?
Ears at 13. It hurt like a bitch, so I stopped there.

18. FIRST foreign country you went to?
Hong Kong. It was all very exciting for a seven year old.  We stayed at a hotel with about a billion floors, and THE POOL WAS ON THE ROOF!!!

19. FIRST movie you remember seeing?
Supergirl. I just checked with IMDB, and I must have been five or six.

20. When was your FIRST detention?
Never got one.

22. Who was your FIRST roommate?
A girl called Julie from South Africa. We met in Wales, and bonded over the fact that neither of us knew how to make snowmen, or throw proper snowballs.

23. If you had one wish. What would it be?
World peace. I know it’s trite, but yeah…. It’d be really nice.

24. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
Guitar… Or Saxophone… Or French. Nothing is really stopping me from learning any of these things.

25. Did you marry the FIRST person to ask for your hand in marriage?
No. We had it planned out, then my mother went all mother-of-the-bridezilla on me. I wanted a simple affair, she wanted a royal wedding. In the end I decided to just not bother getting married, which was probably for the best, because the divorce paperwork would have been an absolute bitch.

26. What was the first sport that you were involved in?
Swimming. It was the only thing I could do well.

27. What were the first lessons you ever took?
Jazz Ballet and tap dancing. I lasted three lessons.

28. What is the first thing you do when you get home?
Put the kettle on and check my answering machine.

boring personal life is boring
