Protest against Privatization of Lakes

The protest against Privatization of Lakes had quite a good turnout. I did start my day very early morning trying to spread the word at Lalbagh. We did put up a couple of posters outside Lalbagh. Just what will the private company do with the lake if it is handed over to it? That was not mentioned anywhere in today's news. Company name was also not mentioned.

Also as you mention, why protest when the Govt does nothing to its lakes?

But lakes are public property. We will lose a lot of lake character if the private guys take it over. They will have a lake side resort but what will the aam janta do? The condition of the lakes hasn't improved even one bit after the provate parties took over.. to make it worse, the public was NOT allowed to a major part of the lakes. They used to harrass the public !

Good job done! I am happy to note so many youngsters and the new generation is involved in such activities. Hopefully this is gonna bring some change in the way people live and care about Mother Earth. Good Luck in all your efforts!
