Posting this just because I need to write this idea down. And of course for you to bounce off your thoughts and impressions ( Read more... )

I need days that last 48 hours at least. Argh. But it seems like an idea with lot possibilities for intimacy and sensuality. Smut not excluded.

Well, I think your chances for getting a smutty story are very good. I have one halfway done.

But this one would be interesting.

PS - once upon a time, the naughtiest of my flisters and me used to have smut drabble a thons. You can read the results here: http://anuna-81.livejournal.com/73390.html#cutid1

Hehehe, we share favourite icons!! How fun!!!

You have to write it. I give you permission to not do anything else, until you write it. It doesn't have to be hot...not for me. Actually, with this idea, i'd much prefer simple things. (You know me.) Just, touching her face to see what she looks like. Or like in "Daredevil" how he took her out in the rain to listen to how the rain dripped on her, so that he could see her. Those kind of things.

But it's your story. So you can smut it up as much as you like!!! lol.

Okay, okay! I'm finishing the Starbuck one (I have to, because she and John are insulting each other and it's insanely fun!) and then I'm doing this one, but I so want your help.

I'll probably smut it up. OMG. This would be perfect for that smutty scenario I promised you!

OMG YES! YES! YES! *sends you more agreeing vibes* That totally woke me up now, a minute before I felt like going to bed...

One of my favourite stories is "Sunrise and Sunset" from missalee, where Elizabeth ends up blind.

Gosh I read that and she did it beautifully! I don't know if I can do that, but I think it would be good. I'm just not certain if I could paint their dynamics right. AUs aren't my strength. But I could give it a try!

Gosh, I really need advices. Or at least a good website to read about things you mentioned.

Now, I know for a fact that blind people can do the work of the masseuse. But this is the first time I hear about cranio - sacral therapy (the words indicate skull and backbone, right? I should know, because I had neurology as a subject for two years in uni. But you can never learn everything about that). Why do you say the technique would be too alternative for John? Why is it powerful? Why would a person (with what kind of problem or condition?) got o that kind of therapy?

(Okay I just looked it up in Wikipedia. It says this therapy can be used for migraines. Elizabeth, as a mayor of some small town, too busy, overworked, and always worried? A definite candidate for a migraine. Carson, her good friend and a family medicine doctor made an appointment for her).

Hehe, good. Since all of you are so kindly asking me to work on this, I probably will. However I would love to have your help! Would you help me?

That sounds really interesting. I love it :D It would probably be easier to have him loose his sight in the Fire Department though - just a thought - it could been too much smoke in the eyes or even slight burning in a flashpoint.

I think a head trauma is enough. Injury to the part of the brain which is responsible for seeing causes permanent damage. Fire Department is just a perfect place to sustain that kind of injury.

True, there are more ways of getting the trauma in the Fire Department - the Police only makes me think of some criminal beating him up, and that just doesn't seem plausible with John.

Hm, several criminals then? I don't know, I think all of those are pretty dangerous jobs and sadly offer lots of possibility to be badly injured. A Police Officer can get hurt in a simple car accident. Something could explode. He could be involved in a rescue mission of some sort. But it doesn't have to be epic at all, actually the more ordinary situation is, the better - I think. Less drama, more reality...
