The wormhole! What a stunnig effect. It actually looks *3D* - like there's a real hole in the ring!

And the giant swarm of birds chasing the jumper! My very first thought was "uh... yeah, of course, all those dead bodies lying around, that would draw a lot of vultures... *shudder*

Appropriately creepy with the ruins and the bloody red light - and so very, very well done.

That's exactly the kind of artwork I would *love* to see a story to match. :-)

^_^ thank you! I've been thinking about joining a SGA Big Bang, I really love illustrating scenes and telling a story with my pictures.

>>and telling a story with my pictures.<<

And this one *talks*! I just wish some author would listen. ;-)

Seriously, it sometimes happens that cover-art or illustrating art for an existing story is the thing that makes me want to read the story, even if I wasn't particularly interested in it before for whatever reasons.

But it happens very seldom that a piece of art makes such a strong impression on me that it makes me really wish an author would pick up the story the artwork tells by itself and "translate" it from visual art to words.

I'm very impressed by this piece of artwork, you did a great job here. :-)

Thank you again ^-^ now I really want to read a accompanying story to my pic too *lol* but I suck as a writer. Hopefully someone get inspired^^

I too get interested in books and stories if the cover art is compelling to me; I know you should never judge a book by its cover, but it helps me to pick books from the overwhelming offer and if the synopsis is good as well I'll buy it ^-^
