So I came home from The Farm, aka My Summer Job. After five hours of working with both kids and horses, plus swimming in the pond (after passing the swim test, but I'll get to that later), I am exahausted, grimy, sweaty, dirty, and I have sand in places I'd rather not mention. Ha, love those little campers, they are so sweet and cute aren't they? I am sure that after a few weeks you will be telling the director that you love your job so much you will pay her to work there.(grin)

Keep on riding-- you will not have much time in high school and college, let alone when you have a "real" job.

Getting much computer time?

Yep, they're sweet and cute, but real monsters. And you're probably right about me loving the job enough to want to pay to work there- I didn't even know we got paid in the first place when I sent in my application, and to find out that we did was a very nice bonus.

I won't have much time, true, but I'm hopeful that once I'm out of college, I'll find a job that will pay enough for me to own a horse. We'll just have to see. Long shot, but I have several ideas (probably not conventional) that may work.

But until then... I'll keep on riding. And though I won't be able to do it while school is in session, I don't see why not during the summer and on teacher workdays, though those will be far and few in between....

Oh, and no- not much computer time at all. I only get on for fifteen minutes in the morning and for an hour or so at night. I'm accustomed to spending more than three hours a day on the computer, so this is like a big 'whoa' for me when I realize I've gone the whole day without my computer. XD
