I debated with myself if I wanted to post something or not and finally decided that it was the easier thing.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling very well. Glad to hear, though, that you have it more under control and that your condition is getting a little bit better. I hope it remains that way. Glad to see you back around LJ.

I expect it to get better. These happen for a while and then I'm without serious problems for the next 2-3 years. Thanks

What is actually left to eat after you eliminate all that? Not being sarcastic, I really want to know! :D

In the past I ate a lot of soja and tofu. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that it's different when you always eat the same because you want to or because there is no choice.
There are a ton of tuber and vegetables to basics like potatoes, rice, bread, noodles (not for me, I detest noodles), eggs, mushrooms.
For fruits everything that doesn't taste sour or bitter. Every fruit that tastes particulary sweet only in low doses
In the dead animal category there is everything aquatic that is not fat, lean meats like chicken, turkey, beef, depending the time of the year game
At least for me no salads because all my salad sauces are to acidic
For sweetness there is honey, stevia or glycerin without any problems.

I always have a very bread-heavy diet so that is not a problem, but without spices, herbs and condiments and so much boiled or steamed it's just all so bland.

At least you can still have chicken! I don't know how I'd live without it.

It doesn't sound like you have celiac disease, which would react badly to breads and anything else made with regular flour. I hope someday the doctors figure out what it is!

Celiac would be a desaster for me, I love grey bread so much.

They did found the reason out after years of different medical diets when I was still a child through exclusion. It's actually a combination effect of 2 different diseases, one genetic that makes me intolerant to specific foods and a general problem with the peristalsis not always working the way it's supposed to.
