The only people I've ever met with a hedgehog kept it in a cage, so I guess that's always an option. I imagine the dog would learn very quickly to keep out of the hedgehog's way, though.
Hee hee, yes. I had a rabbit who used to take her exercise in the garden on a summer's day. We had this rabbit harness (complete with decorative carrot design) and you were meant to be able to take her for walks. Dragging a rabbit is about a cruel a feeling as you can get. So we used to clip the harness to the extendable dog lead and tie the other end of the lead to a tree stump. The first time the dog was out when she was, he ran up to her for a sniff. She scratched him on the nose and he was terrified of her ever after.
I don't mind at all - I've seen you about as well, and I love being friended. I love your lampost icon. The trailer for Narnia came on when I saw GoF and I was far too excited.
