My dream laptop accessory

Scientists develop lightweight nuclear "battery". The storage capacity is vaguely described as being "millions" of times greater than Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries of the same size.

-- Steve'd love to plug that one into his Origami UMPC... but wonders if it could support a 20W or so power draw.

Apparently it produces a tiny amount of power for an incredibly long period of time. So not suitable for active use, but fine to trickle charge an actual battery.

But if you make them smaller and layer them? You don't need watts for small-scale applications. A few mW and I'd be a VERY happy camper.

Oh, absolutely. For some applications it would be perfect. Didn't early pacemakers use nuclear power?
