I've been thinking this for a while. Probably 6 months or more, but LJ has really put a magnifying glass on it for me. Let me preface this with a little background that I hope will make sense.

I feel honoured to know all my special live journal friends, and especially you anto. You give me windows into worlds in which I seldom walk. I am so pleased to have the chance to get to know you all - and am delighted in the process of getting to know you to find that even though we may have fundamental differences, we can still come together as one in regards of the matters of tea and cake.
thank you, too!beckerbunsApril 4 2005, 18:42:56 UTC
Thank you, too, for being my friend. Bookcrossing has been a wonderful experience for me but posting and commenting with these folks on LJ has opened my eyes to even more new things and people and I am grateful every day, every hour.
Among others, I have on my friends list: students in the US and abroad; polyamorous males and females; two transsexuals who also happen to be parents of (different) special needs kids; middle-aged engineer types; a diabetic musician who is on the kidney transplant list; a goth mom; and a knitting lesbian with ADHD!

Reminds me of my LJ collage (which I loved and now can't remember what day I posted it. . .)
