Thank you for introducing me to John M Perkins. I didn't know of him previously.

I feel as you do re celebrating MLK Day. Would that we never needed to remember someone because of the manner of their death but rather for the life they lived. Of course, many of us do remember the life lived but, to me anyway, my joyful memories are tainted by the shock and sadness of his death.

Thank you Martin Luther King Jnr for your courage and your eloquence.

Maybe it's about celebrating his life, his greatness and his acheivements.

I know also that we still have a long way to go before we acheive his dream, but at least we're a little bit closer.
