Hey gang! I have a lot to catch up on, but first I have to tell you about the amazing gift I got in the mail on Saturday! I have a tea cosy on my little teapot! See?

Wow - it fits better than I could have hoped. (There was a lot of head scratching and fiddling with tape measures hahaha!)

I must make a post in my journal to try to draw MargeryK and Semioticghost's attention to it :)

Glad your tea is now keeping warm - and the trip sounds wonderful. Hope you're soon feeling better - this time of year is just one long sniff-a-thon, isn't it. *Sigh*

I can't even imagine trying to make something like this without a "model" to fit it to! Now you can post the pic on the knitter's community, so you get "credit", right?!

I was so impressed last night -- that tea was hot all the way to the bottom of the pot! In fact, I thought I must have more in there, as it wasn't as cold as I expected it! You're a wonder :)

sniff-a-thon is a good way to describe it -- and I'm tired of it!

we say "cozy", but the creator of it says "cosy", so in deference to the patent-owner, I called it both :)

Get lots of disinfectant -- I'm sneezing like crazy now!

That is such a lovely tea cosy. And looks like it's very thick so will keep your tea hot for a long time.

You'll laugh, but I actually thought you and atebei were really sisters. I knew the twins part was a joke, but I really thought she was your little sister! Lol - I feel daft now! :-)

Isn't it? (lovely, that is) it's very thick, and is definitely doing its job!

Sorry about the atabei thing! Don't feel daft -- we've been talking about it so long, it feels like we ARE sisters! Especially now that we've met :)
