February 2 is National Wear Red Day, in support of educating women about heart disease. Why should it just be "national", though? Why not international? I found out too late too. They need to show me these things the day before so I can make plans! I saw Laura Bush on the screen just as I went to snap the set off to leave for work.

This was yesterday's conversation over the morning paper:

T: Tomorrow is Wear Red Day. I wonder why.
Me: It probably has something to do with AIDS awareness.
T: No, AIDS is pink.
Me: No, Breast Cancer is pink.
T: Oh.

(At this point we both conceded that it's too hard to keep up with what color belongs to what cause).
