I just finished Multireal, the second in the series, I really like the way farout future, that is totally about today ... fun scifi geek stuff.

You should check out Jack McDevitt's books. They're (mostly) an awesome mix of space based sci-fi and anthropology/archaeology.

o0o ill have to check him out ... oh by the way, is your band still playing, we actually have a scene going on here, you guys should come down and play, maybe my new band can up and play Rochester sometime

Absolutely, and our new lineup (our old bass player moved to Austin, and we've got another guitar now) is really good. We can work something out - we were going to be playing in Erie in May, but that seems to have fallen through. But we're trying (again) to stretch out a little.
