So I followed her on her now private Instagram and someone back in my other post mentioned there was a cart section on her website navigation, yet she wasn't selling anything. Turns out, she was changing her website into an eStore to sell

Hell to the no. I'm way too fat to fit into anything she designed. And LOL about the shipping, I hear you. I would rather spend my money on things will last more than one wash. Gloria is not known for quality.

Apparently, Gloria rapped for about year or two because her then boyfriend was a music producer. Her first music video she attacked our very own swankivy by calling her a ratchet. That video is gone now, but yeah if do some googling you can find her other videos. She still sings though, and it's not that much better. As for the book, I would totally download it just to see how much the fail is. I personallywould never give Tesch a penny of my hard earned money. I don't believe in funding narcissism. ;)

The Floral bikini is hideous, but the rest are decent. I want the Ocean High one.

I don't have a problem overall with the design of the bikinis, but honestly, my biggest issue with this line is how hideous cheap the advertising is. This woman has money and all she come up with regards to the advertising. Maybe that I have a toe in that industry is why it bugs me the most, but it does. Like I know her original book design for her book series was only the tip of the iceberg of fail, but as someone who is in the industry, those book covers are a sin against design from the horrible illustration to the bad typography.

I also would be weary buying anything from Tesch, because she really doesn't give a damn about quality. As said, before knowing her the bikini might fall apart in the wash.

Agreed, Gloria is totally trying to be a Kardashian. She's trying to follow the same steps they did in launching their business. UnFortualey, half of her fanbase is fake paid followers and she's trying to do everything as cheaply and with as little effort as possible.

One last thing, how much of a failure you have to be to fail at being a freaking Karashian? The whole clan, especially the Jenners made their living by being rich and pretty.

Oh sweet baby Jesus! You actually picked part everything that was wrong ten times better than I could. To me everything looks amatuerish and hapdashily put together. I'm thinking Gloria did the design herself. It reminds me of indie authors who have no idea about design who put together their own book covers. Just scroll down the writing hashtag on Twitter and you know what I mean.

Everyone have things they are not good at. I'm not too good with math and accounting. So I would pay someone to do accounting for me. Sometimes you just have to bring in professionals. Gloria is rich and she's lazy and nacarrastic to realize that she's s can't do everything. Again a fiverr designer would have done a better and more professional ad compaign. For a lot of buyers, the presentation is just as important as the quality of products.

Also, I totally missed how she didn't specifiy what was free, so she has no real business sense. You would think she would read some books or at least take a few businesses classes.

It's really pathetic and sad. This woman is the walking talking definition of white rich privilege. Gloria Tesch had nothing but opportunity as far as the eye can see and she keeps failing because she is too lazy to put any real effort into anything. It wouldn't have taken a lot of time and effort to do. And if she was too lazy, hire someone else to do it. Honestly, her failure is also her due to being way too cheap, she's rich, but she refuses to shell out the cash to make her ventures even a tiny bit of a success. I could understand if she was poor like the rest of us poor schmucks, but homegirl is rich. So, in the end, it's a combination of Gloria being lazy and cheap as hell.

I applaud you, it takes real guts to do what you did. I honestly don't think I would have the courage to do it. I wanted to be in Graphic Design, but I'm financially reliant on my parents and I couldn't afford to pay 50k to go to college. So I studied on myself and it was hard. I'm not successful yet, but I'm still studying on my own. I also know how freaking privileged I am that have the support of my parents behind me. I know that a lot of artists and designers have it ten times worse than I have it and I'm freaking grateful as hell. I have the chance to do what I love without starving to death. I try to help others, and never lose sight that I'm privileged. And once I'm successful, I will be giving charity and help other self-taught designers succeed.

People like Paolini and Tesch never really own up to their own privilege and you right they are entitled brats who lives in a bubble of ignorance.
