how would you improve upon the Inheritance Series?

if you could, how would you rewrite the inheritance series to not suck so much? Feel free to bash on the series as much as you want.

I would have made Eragon absolutely terrified of dragons, even Saphira. That would add some conflict and character development.

I would have made Arya a dwarf. There needs to be more dwarf/human love out there. And at least we would know that their romance was more than skin deep...because the true beauty is on the inside. :P

I think someone mentioned it before, but Eragon might have been a much better protagonist had he been much younger.

Oh, and I would also have made Murtagh the real hero :D
